Tater Knob Pottery & Farm

What's the Story on Our Logo?

Spoonbread-baker-current-bush-design-

The graphic above explains the symbolism of our logo, but we think it just feels right. If you visit our studio, you will usually see Sarah, and sometimes Jeff and David, wearing a Tater Knob logo t-shirt.

The main element, the currant bush branch, you will see in many of our pots, but especially our spoonbread bakers. Sarah started making the design in the very early days of working with clay, and the currant bush image is often asked for as a distinctive Tater Knob Pottery design.

Our friends at Kirby Stephens Design in Somerset, Kentucky, designed our logo and our original and new website.
