"We found this place to be awesome . The people there were so kind .Sarah was on the pottery wheel making flowerpots and was so friendly and educational. She has such a passion for her work. The ride_there was beautiful country roads and scenery. Offered us drinks and refreshments and had a great selection of pottery to buy._Highly recommend !__in scenery"

"If you haven't been here, you should go. Taterknob is the quintessential example of Appalachian Folk Art. All of the craftpeople are exceptional as well as friendly."

"If I could give 10 stars I would._We were on a family vacation to Berea, KY and just happened to stop in because of our rental house having information on Tater Knob Pottery. I had left my husband and kids, ages 4, 3, and 1, in the car (it is a pottery shop after all!), but was persuaded by the owner Sarah to bring them in. She then gave them clay to play with and threw a pot on the wheel as a demonstration for them. They also had coffee and fruit for everyone to enjoy! Such hospitality and a forever memory for our family!_Oh and the pottery was amazing too! :) We now own coffee mugs, juice (who's kidding, bourbon) cups, a pitcher, ring holder, and a bowl as a gift. Such a wonderful shop that I will never forget and look forward to our next visit!"

"Great place! Just going in to browse and was treated to a demonstration and fruit punch. Super friendly and willing to answer any questions you have. You feel at home. I really gained an appreciation for their art. Recommend this as a stop anytime!"

"Half the fun is getting there! It is in a scenic section of Madison County. But once you do you will find a homey atmosphere, friendly craftsmen, and great pottery."
